Doc Scott pointed out that Dominique is a minor league free agent. My bad. Anyway, as far as catching is concerned, there isn't much out there. That is why Veritek can ask for an I-Rod type contract.

Now my take on first basemen: Kevin Millar. Doug Mandabunchofletters is better defensively, had a down year at the plate (maybe recovering from wrist surgery), and is under contract. He will probably be traded. Millar is huge for team chemistry. Not to mention, Theo broke unwritten rules by claiming him off waivers when he was supposed to go to Japan. Millar may be streaky, but he had a great second half last year. Granted, defensively, he is at the bottom of the AL, but you have to hide a defensive liability somewhere when David Ortiz is on your team.
